How to delete YouTube account
- Visit the YouTube Studio page.
- Click on the Settings menu.
- Then select Channel.
- Continue to Advanced Settings.
- Click on Manage YouTube content or Remove YouTube content, both will eventually access the same options.
- You may choose between I want to hide my content to deactivate your YouTube account temporarily or I want to delete my YouTube content permanently.
- Confirm your action.
- Click Hide my channel or Remove my content, depending on your previous option.
YouTube account deletion does not affect your Google data and services.
