How to delete Academia account

1. Go to Academia.edu.
2. Login to your account.
3. Click your username in the top right corner.
4. Choose Account Settings.
5. Scroll to the bottom until your find the Delete Profile section.
6. Fill in the reason for leaving Academia services.
7. Click Delete my profile.
8. Check your inbox for the confirmation email from Academia.
9. Follow the link inside the message to proceed with your request for account deletion.

You can block Academia email notifications on the settings page too.
